BUD Funding Audit
The “Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestics Sales” (the BUD Fund) help companies which are registered and operated in Hong Kong and non-listed in any stock market to enhance their competitiveness and facilitate their business development in the mainland and Association of South East Asian Nations (“ASEAN”) market. The BUD Fund supports companies to develop brands, upgrade and promote sales in the mainland and ASEAN market, including but not limited to marketing for mainland and ASEAN market, increasing brand awareness, optimizing enterprise operation, improving product quality , and developing sales channels.
The cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise under the BUD fund is HKD 1,000,000 in mainland and ASEAN market respectively. The fund will be provided on the matching basis.
To ensure that the project funds have been solely and properly applied to the projects and expended/received in accordance with the “Project Expenditure” section of the Approved Project Proposal, the required accounts shall be audited by an independent auditor who must be either Certified Public Accountants or Public Accountants registered under the Professional Accountants Ordinance (Cap. 50) (the Auditors).
